Can you make a high-end gaming PC quiet so it's a home theater or media center PC too?

I got a shuttle, and I like it, but it's not gonna work as a quite PC I think. I'm trying to figure out what kind of rig I can make for a media center PC.

any suggestions for case or setup?

ya look into oil cooled comptures.. tho most of the examples need better fans then stock to work in the oil.
